Just curious what others thoughts were on this. I always put the bimini up every time I use the boat. On the 242 it wraps around the tower and can be a pita to do myself. I decided to leave it up. I figured it's the same materiel as the cover so the worst that can happen is that I get some fading over the years and I'll have to maybe clean some bird poop off it from time to time. I keep it at the marina on the trailer and would take it down before trailering.
Ideally I'd like to have some type of cover made that would easily slip over it while up in storage. But for now does anyone see any reason why this might be a bad idea?
