Left impeller does not spin engin runs fine

We were on our 2004 sx230 dual engine and the Left impeller stopped spiningn...no movement.
Engine works fine. No issues
The heat light never went on.
And dud not have anything stuck the impeller shaft.
It's like a belt came off.

Sounds like you have a broken shaft or the splines are stripped. . I would pull the pump assemble and inspect.

That or the coupler. Or possibly a gear in the gear reduction assembly.

Thx. I looked at some videos and will disassemble. It was weird. we were tubing and the impeller just stopped. No warning signs at all

How long have you owned the boat ?
how many hours are on the engine ?
have you ever got anything caught in the impellers previously ?

you've got a very unique problem that we don't hear about often, luckily it should be easy to diagnose,

you could even swap impellers/shafts from the good side just to confirm if your problem is in the intermediate bearing/coupler,

No major issues, the usual, spark plugs, steering cables.
This is weird. No idea how many hours. I have had ropes, sea weed, a seahorse wedged and always been able to remove. This time No warning sign. I need to see if I can manually rotate the impeller.

Congratulations !! you may be one of our oldest original owner boats !

It would be good to find someone with a YDS near you and check the hours on your engines,

I need to see if I can manually rotate the impeller.

if something is broken maybe you can just spin the shaft easily,

if it's not broken this may be very difficult to turn, I believe you have to pull the spark plugs and then try to spin it at the intermediate bearing or maybe reach down through the cleanout tubes

it might also be time to take the cone off and check the bearings on your impeller shaft (but that wouldn't be the cause of no spinning)

Well, I should have noticed
The moter mounts broke which shifted the engine forward.

YIKES !! can't remember when we've seen that happen,

the engine block flange that sits on the the bolt goes through
or
the mount that holds the engine ?

if it is the mount, this member just parted out a 2008 boat and it may have what you need,
