Looking for pictures of your tower speakers, brand, location on tower and how much of a musical difference did you notice on your boat. I just finished my 4 speaker upgrade with an amp and now I will be researching some tower speakers. Thanks in advance. [flag]safe boating during the 4th weekend [flag]

Kicker KMT-6. My neighbor had these brand new in the box and sold them to me for $100. I probably would have gone with some bullet style if I had to pay full retail. Having said that they put out some serious sounds. Not a ton of bass but the highs and mids are loud and clear.

Crank it up !!!

If you boat in salt water use landscape wire or marine grade I used heavy gauge car audio wire and it turned to dust. These things are 10 years old I am amazed every year when I open the boat that they still work. Amplifiers are regular car audio and no problems they have very light surface rust on the chrome.

8'' rear firing 5 1/4'' front firing great for a boat party

WetSounds REV10's. Love them. No idea why each picture uploaded twice...

Shoot... I don't remember exactly... if memory serves correct, they are running off of a bridged WetSounds HT-4.

How many other speakers do you have in your boat? Did you notice a big improvement with the tower speakers?

8 speakers in the boat. Tower speakers don't do much in the boat. I added a pair of Wetsounds xs-808's in the cockpit. They made a huge difference and sound amazing.

I'm also running a pair of Rev 10's powered by a Syndx4 amp. Love them.

Would love to see some pics of a 2010-2014 limited S. I need to add tower speakers to mine but not sure where to position them so I'm not hitting my head all the time.

For those that have the LS with the tweeter, did you run separate wires for your tower speakers or did you just disconnect and use the tweeter wires? I find the tower tweeters make the sound for the driver and front passenger too high pitched. Would replacing the tweeters with the tower speakers help that? Any problems with bumping your head on these? Looks like they are placed right above the cockpit chairs, so would be pretty difficult to stand straight up there.

To my eyes, the red/white/brushed contrast, exactly as you have done it, is the best looking combo ever. The red absolutely pops. Looks like candy apple.

Thanks @David Analog ....I think I remember you mentioning a while back that you liked that color combo. Here they are lit up....IMG_20161202_092827.jpg

How about Tower speakers without a tower? I went with JL Audio 7.7 and a flush mount kit for the back they project sound all over the beach/sandbar awesome

Wetsounds REV 8s. I mounted mine high and on the outside, no hitting my head and can still use the factory bimini with no modifications.
