We're still waiting until the 2019 boats come out before we make a decision on what new boat to purchase. I was looking online at our local Yamaha Dealer and was saddened to see they don't even have any new model year boats. They have a lot of New 2016's though if anyone is interested. If we do go with a Yamaha, I guess I'll have to buy elsewhere. Unfortunate!

With such low volume compared to cars, don't limit yourself to the local dealer. 5+ hour drive for such a purchase would totally be worth it. You want what you want. The effort now to go get it will reward for years vs. settling for what was near, and not being happy with what you got for a long time.

That said, I agree it would be nice if they had exactly what you want near you.

Of course if you could get a killer deal on a 2016... 20% off?

I would call to make sure that is correct. I looked at them last August when I bought my boat and they had a ton of '17s. If you come a little north, both Barney's and Cycle Springs should have a good selection.

I agree with @Beachbummer ... I drove 7.5 hrs one way to get mine a month ago. Definitely worth it to get what I wanted!!!
