Locking cover on radio compartment

I don't seem to be able to lock the radio compartment. Is there a trick to this?

Are you referring to the glove box? I had the same boat, I just had to turn the key. I do not think I had to hold the knob while turning the key.

yeah, I guess you can call it a glove box.
tried with the key in, and a bunch of variations and no luck. the dealer either gave me the wrong key or I'm missing something.
the owners manual didn't help.
Is there anything else the 2nd key is for?

Nope..one key for ignition and a smaller key for the glove box. Might be a wrong key or bad lock.
