Low rpms at full throttle

max rpms are only around 7000 with two people. Max speed is 47mph.
That's very unusual in that 47mph would typically require spinning the impellers at about 7,500+ RPM or so, definitely more than 7,000... Are your impellers original/OEM or have been replaced? It would seem you may be "overpitched" but that is very unusual, I would think.

My California 17 ar240 maxes out at about 7300 rpms.

My 2016 ar240 maxes out around 7300 rpm and will get to 47 mph with full tank and 2 adults. I’d like to get out there by myself and 1/4 tank of gas and see if I can get to 50.

I'm having that same problem also my starboard motor comes out at 7000 RPMs and little by little goes to 6800 RPMs my port side motor runs at 7300 RPMs when no problem it just started doing that recently anybody got any ideas for what I need to look at.

Same here, on a hot day. I think, just about.

I had my '16 242LSE out the other day with the bimini canvas off and about 1/3 tank with just me on it and finally hit the 50mph mark for the first time only lasted a couple seconds though lol. I'm not sure what the rpms were I'd guess around 7300ish.

I had mines on the water this weekend and I was at 7500 RPMs once I took the filters off both RPMs are exactly the same and the boat been getting up to 50 and 51 miles per hour I also had seven people on my boat this weekend I was getting 48 to 49 miles per hour just FYI haven't put the filters back yet don't know if I can keep driving the boat like that without the filter. If anybody got any suggestions or advice I'm open.

I have a 2015 SX240. Same issue. Port side motor was running finearound 7500 RPMs then gradually slowed to around 6000 and stayed. Starboard side no issues. Did You find the cause of the issue?

Rob on YouTube has a video on it I been using mine since last year and I have no problems and it runs good.
