I am trying to replace the scupper valve on my 2000 LS2000 but I do not have enough room to use a slip jaw wrench to remove the nut. I can only get about a 1/4 turn max. I need a socket or some type of wrench that will allow me to set it over the valve body. The only other rout is to start removing exhaust pipes which will be a big pain. Anyone have any suggestions?

I don’t remember having a problem when I replaced mine in the LS2000. Can you consider just cutting it since it is plastic? I know I didn’t have to but just an idea

Cold chisel and one tap with a hammer removed my old scupper valve. The plastic was very brittle.

Does the scupper have to be replaced with an OEM or will any aftermarket part work?
