Thanks to this forum and the wonderful contributors, I used a lot of info from here, on my previous LS2000, 6 yrs, lost that in a storage fire accident. Picked up a 2001 recently and the port engine cylinder1 is toasted. Lost power in the water, checked compression and 120 to 130 on most others and this was 30 psi. Going the wisecos route, yes forged ?. Dropped off the cylinder block this am and wanted to drop a note and a few pictures for any future reference.
Called SBT, and they had a longer lead time.

So in my case, oil lines looking good, changed by PO, impeller wear ring looks ok, exhaust/water box has not been inspected for any obstructions yet, carbs look clean, going to order a rebuild kit from groupK.

This ran 2 tanks full of gas, heat light came up during the last run and the port engine cut out quickly.
