Finally got to break her in yesterday. A mix of clouds and sun about 85 degree small ripples except for boat wakes. Even had a real smooth launch and docking. I learned I have to winch the boat up a little farther then i thought, Definitely doesn't handle the chop well but it's a learning process and our only real previous experience was 18 season with a PWC.
Ninety minutes at 5-13 MPH was painful. after that WOT, top speed a tiny bit disappointing (45mph), was hoping for at least 47mph. Just two of us, a full tank and average amount of gear.
Discovered the cleanout port well full to the brim with water, guess that was was from coming hard off the throttle and the wake coming up on the transom?
Quite a bit of water came out of the the drain plugs, but don't know what to compare to, think I've read on the forum that that is normal.
Couple of pics.
