Is there a way to change the map orientation on the 242xe navigation system?

I don't have this system. Is it orientated to North or to the nose of the boat?

you can't. Suprising right? I use that map as a birds eye view, zoomed out. And next to it I have my cellphone with navionics for up close chart plotting.
