So I got an estimate for a professional install of Marine Mat on my recently aquired 2013 242LS. Includes removal of the old mat on the transom.

$3,600.00

What do you think, about right? Or high? Or...outlandish?

Outlandish.

Just for comparison....if you got the Seadek cockpit and swimdeck kit from JBP for $1,000 and then paid somebody $2,600 to install the cockpit and pull off and install the swim deck.

Ok, for $2,600 I'll do the install. ;)

Ok for $2,599 I'll do the install AND the beer is on me. :cigar:

Bro... :(

On a serious note though why not just remove the old stuff and install it yourself? Nothing about the job is hard. Just time consuming. Save the money on the install cost and use it for mods :winkingthumbsup"

Is the swim deck SeaDek on your 2015 damaged or you just wanted a different color/style?

I have marine mat on both my swim platforms and walkthrough on my Glastron GTS 207 with custom engraving and it was $379 shipped. That price you got seems crazy high. They told me if I did the rest of my boat I was looking at $800-$1000

Where you located? I'll do it for $3500. . . . .;)

That's what I thought. Thanks everybody. P.S. the sarcasm was priceless!
