Newby here to the Jet Boat world but very excited to become part of your group. I am based in Long Island, New York and am looking to purchase a 2008 Yamaha 212 which is located in New Jersey and I wanted to a hire a qualified marine mechanic to inspect the boat mechanically and or sea trial the boat before my purchase. Any recommendations/advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance for your guidance

There's a member map https://jetboaters.net/membersmap/ There might be someone that is local to you to help recommend someone or they might even look. A yds would be good to have to read the engines as well.

Anyways , Bump
