May Is Military Appreciation Month

May is Military Appreciation month. This month, we also recognize Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day.
While we celebrate those actively serving, those who served, and those who died serving, many Americans may not know the difference between these two observances and Veterans Day in November.

A lot of people get these confused. Others are still trying to co-opt Memorial day to include on the job losses, disease losses, etc. Those losses are painful too and it's good and proper to remember everyone we've lost, but these are special days to honor those who heeded our country's call for defense. Hat's off to all veterans and a humble thanks for a job well done!
