Was just looking at the member map. Pretty amazing how wide spread we are getting, especially considering only about a quarter of us are marked

I agree. We come from many places all over the world to share our obsession ;)

I agree it is impressive....but you think only a 1/4 of us are marked?. I would think that's more like 75-85%.....I've seen very few profiles without a zip code.

I thought I seen somewhere that @Bruce said only 50% of the registered users are marked on the map.... ??

I think most of us that are active list our location. However, I bet there is a ton of users that have registered and have 0-50 posts. I wouldn't be surprised if most of them didn't want all of us knowing where they live.

1,418 out of 5,350 members have added their location for display on the member map. That is 26.5%.

WOW!!!! @Bilmon wins the prize.... :D:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I wonder how many of those user that haven't put in their location have a post count more then 100....o_Oo_Oo_O Not that it matters... Edit: I scanned right over what @Bill D put. Sorry buddy!

Most of them. @Bill D is onto something. Many members sign up so they can monitor threads or see full size pictures but interact very little. Then there are us vocal members!

I get that. Heck, if the government wanted to seize all the guns and jetboats, they'd know right where we lived. :)

well dang !!!!

Yeah, I see so many Yamaha (and SeaDoo) jetboats here and wonder why they are not on the Forum. But with Bruce's numbers, they very well could be on here, just did not list their location.

Checked the user map about a month ago and was surprised to see another Forum member on the map with me. But he's got 0 posts and has not been back since the day he signed up. Then scrolling through Craigslist, I stumbled upon his Yamaha for sale. Same profile picture used for the sale ad. Oh well.
