MFI axle specs

The previous owner removed the brakes from the MFI trailer and cut the lines. I believe the surge tongue is still good but nothing else is there. It is the galvanized trailer and the axles are pretty rusty. The rotors are really bad as are the caliper mounts. I'm thinking about just getting 2 new axles. Has anyone done this or know the part number or measurements of the axles?

MFI used UFP axles. Check out ufpnet.com
I downloaded service instructions for our "Trailer Buddy" axles there which included bearing, seal and brake part references. I am pretty certain we have the 2900#-3750# axles.

I know the brakes are DB35. Lug spacing I believe is 5 on 4.5. Hope that helps. There was several posts on "the other site" that covered that topic. But I don't think anybody's covered it over here yet. Make sure to document it well for us over here @Woodchuck. It could prove to be a huge help for several of us as more of the trailers of our vintage could need similar repairs.

I've bought calipers from www.pacifictrailers.com before. Not sure if they sell our axles though.
