A little off topic but recently I started to try different micro brews whenever I am in a different town and/or State. My preference is the sours/berliners but was wondering if there are beer drinkers/lovers that do beer trading. Since this site has members from all over the country I was wondering what you think is the best Micro Brewery in your State or town.

So far my favorite brewery that I have been to is Burley Oak in Berlin Maryland. Love their line of JREAM.

Great idea. Prairie bomb or any oklahoma beers, trades can be made for any craft Belgians.

Not a sour fan myself but wicked weed in ashville, nc is nationally known for their sours and they sell big bottles to go.

Never traded before. There are a lot of micro breweries up here. My favorite very special occasion beer is Heady Topper. Very expensive, in demand and sold in limited quantities. It's not worth $15+ per can, to me, but people pay that, I too should start selling on Ebay, if I can find it in a store before it sells out. My go to beer is Long Trail Ale an Altbier.

Yeah heady is suppose to be the number 1 beer by beer advocate. Different strokes for different folks I guess, i wasnt impressed with heady or even plingy the younger or elder. Maybe I'm just not a hoppy ipa fan.

If you like strong belgium's prairie bombs are really good and held in the same regard as heady but not 15 per can. 8 bucks a bottle.

I can get anything from prairie,a very, new belgium, odells or lagunitas.
Basically anything in oklahoma, colorado, or texas.

If you like spurs, Hugger Mugger Brewery in Sanford, NC has some great ones. Whenever I'm on a trip I try to sample the local stuff. The whole scene has really exploded recently.

Asheville has basically become the hub for all the good breweries. I highly recommend a trip there.
