I have been researching this way too much and have come to the conclusion that either of these would work. RIght now I could buy the MotorGuide and have it delivered right away. The Minn Kota is backordered for who knows how long. Since I am also waiting for my 255 FSH Sport e to come in I have a while to wait on the Minn Kota, if it is not too long. I would like to know how the individuals who have either of these motors like them. I would also like to know why they chose the one they did. I know one advantage for the MotorGuide is that it will intereface with the Simrad, however I am not sure I would use that interface that often. If anyone is using that interface I would like to know how well it works and what you use it for. Thanks in advance for your input.
