So the 2019 models are up on the website, and one of the things I am noticing is the 19 foot hull is a couple of inches wider and the fuel cell is 40 gallons. I'm pretty sure every 19 foot model up until 2018 has a 30 gallon cell.

I wonder if the 40 gallon tank can fit in the older boats? I've been looking at expanding my fuel capacity and just a 25 gallon collapsible fuel bladder to go in the ski locker is nearly $500 dollars. I looked at a 50 gallon at nearly $700, which would still fit, but that adds 350 pounds of ballast mostly forward of the pilots chair.

Then again, just the stock fuel tank lists for $870, so even if the 2019 tank could fit and all the hardware tied in correctly, the price might make this idea a no-go.

Has anyone else come up with a solution besides gasoline jugs?

When I open up my fuel locker cover on my sx195, mine says 34 gallons, even though manual says 30. Not sure if the 4 gallons is unusable or not, I’ve never run it that low.

I seriously doubt that it would fit....otherwise they would have put a larger tank in there to begin with.

I ran mine pretty low last week and was able to put almost 32 gallons in so I think it is a 34 gal tank. I thought the pump was incorrect and complained to the marina that I was beiong charged for fuel I didn't receive, they showed me that there pump was just checked monthly and the last check was on 7/19/18 and was correct. They did tell me that if the check in August showed it being incorrect they would refund my money, I guess I won't be getting anything money back.:(

I ran my 192 completely dry. I got to the courtesy dock and it shut off right as I pulled up. When I took it to the gas station the next trip out, it held 33 and some change. So, I would suspect 34 is accurate.
