MR-1 engine replacement options

I know this has been covered some in other threads but wondering if there are any options for replacement engines other than SBT which seems to be hit or miss in terms of quality. Dealer just told me Yamaha doesn't sell them retail even if I were willing to pay the price. Anyone have a list of wave runner models and years with engines that would work? I am looking for the 110HP version but I am sure others might appreciate answers for the HO version also as long as it is made clear which one. I figured I'd be out of commission for quite a while and spend a big chunk of change but didn't expect to not even have good options.

I know FX140 non HO engines are pretty much the same. If I remember correctly I needed to use the valve cover and coils off my old engine.

I do not think a jet ski engine/ecu has the No-wake feature.

I assume that if a wave runner engine were used as a replacement all the electronics and possibly many other things that are not part of the engine core would be taken from the failed boat engine

Yamaha apparently doesn’t sell whole engine but I wonder if I could get a new block and have a complete rebuild done, no idea what that would cost or if it would come out any better than SBT
