Murrells inlet SC

Just the one ramp in area? Thinking about camping just south of there at huntinging island state park.

Any fishing nearshore/inshore there? How is it coming in and out of the channel to the ocean?

We go to murrells inlet every year. We have not taken the boat. Last time I checked the one ramp that was there was pretty sketchy and it's shallow as fook. There's a member here that boats down that way quite a bit. There's some boating to be had around there, but it's not really at Murrells inlet.

@suke thanks for the input. I take the boat and many places as possible. If I cant bring the boat the vacation seems average.

I'm already planning a lake Powell trip where I fly wife and kids and trailer boat myself out there

Can't speak about boating there, but it's a nice area. Dead dog saloon is right on the water and good food. Garden city beach is clean and nice.

The huntington state park is awesome. We stay at a sound side condo, and drive to huntington every day. It's like a 5 min drive from the resort. Assuming this covid shiz doesn't hang on we'll be down there end of June-ish.
