So, I have been thinking of names for my boat. I have come up with some but nothing I have settled on.

Now in steps my oldest daughter.

So I dont know about your kids but mine can never sit still. They are a bunch of jitterbugs.

So my smart 10 year old comes up with......

Jet - er - Bug

So, what do you think?

Sounds like you've got a good one already. I'd go with what she came up with. It'll mean more to you guys down the road than something somebody else picked for you.

Yep, get the family on board early. Sounds like a keeper!

If only it were that easy:banghead:...lol...don't they say, "so easy a child can do it"? If only I were a child! lol

Haha, I like it!
Kids can be so clever.
Your daughter will enjoy knowing that she named the family boat.

Not bad, I'd write it "Jet'r Bug".

Thanks guys!

So we are 99.9% sure we are going with this as the name. My daughter came up with the general name (proud Dad!) but we are still going through the different variations. I am thinking left side of the stern with the name and my city/st on the right side. That way I don't have anything hiding behind the grab rail.

You should have seen my daughter's face when I told her what the boats name would most likely be. I showed her your comments and she was even happier. Nice job guys!

Nice call @MOA_Chaser This is one of the variations we may go with...it is tops along with JET 'r' BUG but depends on the font we use. Some fonts convert to all uppercase and it doesn't look as good with the cap R.

Great name and I also like that you are going with your daughter's suggestion since it means a lot to them. I did the same when we bought a cat (don't ask) and now we have a cat named chocolate head.
