So apparently my navigation light switch is reversed. The bow light turns on both when the switch is up or down, but the white all around light at the stern is on only when the switch is down.

To my knowledge, the stern light should be on when the switch is up or down, and the bow light on in only one of those positions.

I looked at the wiring, swapped wires back and forth but managed to go through 5 fuses before I gave up.

Does anyone know how the wires should be laid out? Or a wiring schematic with colours?

At the moment, the plug looking at the back of the switch looks like
Double grey yellow
X X
Red Empty
X
Grey Single grey
X X

Double grey and single grey are interconnected diagonally across.

There is no pin behind the plug on the empty.

Pretty sure red should stay where it is but the rest I'm confused.

I think there's one config I haven't tried now that I talk it out. Since it keeps the bow light on no matter what, I can probably take the top two and move them to the bottom two and vice versa?

Too many mosquitoes right now , it will have to wait until tomorrow.

So found my answer this morning. Waste of fuses.

Apparently the diode in the fuse box was reversed. I had noticed it was reversed originally from the manual diagram so had switched it to match the manual. Apparently that was what controlled this and the manual was wrong relative to how the wiring was done. It seems I shouldn't always believe the manual. Lol

This diode that you are referring to is where? I have tried everything I can think of and have the same thing. A lot of fuses wasted. I found the answer also, that diode is just above the fuse.

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. Was gone camping with the family for a few days. Glad to hear you found it! Yeah, it would be nice if the manual indicated the direction correctly. It's a very easy fix, but damn talk about a lot of needless frustration lol.
