I have never had a problem with Navionics until I used it for the first time this season. It will no longer give an actual route. It only puts a straight line to the point I am trying to route to. Anyone else seen this or know a fix? Thanks!

Try reinstalling the app. I hit that routing behavior once and starting over is the only thing that fixed it.
If you have a Navionics account, on login it'll restore everything except the cached (offline) map areas.

Well... that didn't work out. Uninstalled it and then could not find it to download again. Went to their website to find this:

Yikes - yeah seems like all the Navionics apps are (hopefully temporarily!) gone from the Play Store.
I'm going to back up my app now. In case you're stuck, PM me and I'll get you a copy of the APK.

I just installed an apparent new "Active Captain" app from Garmin and am not impressed. It let me log in using my Navionics creds and the (software) "chart" looks similar though wasn't working, e.g. it couldn't download detail even for a small area.

I sure hope this isn't the end of the line for Navionics, unless something better takes its place and of course my subscription still works!

I was trying to get it resolved before I go on a boating vacation in about a week. Looks like I will be giving Garmin a try as well.

Mine still route on my iPad though I’m testing it at home

Guys, Navionics was updated to "boating app" a while back. It is the same app. Same subscription.

OP, I had the issue with routing. I realized that if somewhere along the trip it thinks that it is too shallow or in "land" it will do the line. So now I just ask it to route starting or ending a bit deeper into water. And it works fine. Hopefully that helps.

edit: Oops. Didn't see the message below where it says it is not on Play store. That blows. I'm going back to android soon so they better fix that!
