i want to mount the traducer on the back of the boat next to the speedo sensor can anyone tell me if they did it and if it works well in that location and does it work at all speeds

I did on my LS. Works well up to 30mph or so and then gets a little spotty.

where did you mount the gps at? can you show me a picture if you have one
I did on my LS. Works well up to 30mph or so and then gets a little spotty.

I removed the OEM depth sensor in the back and replaced with the GPS sensor. My GPS/Fish finder now provides speed and depth along with the GPS and both work better than my OEM gauges (speedo, depth)

anyone have any pictures of where the mounted the gps screen

Sorry no pics but I mounted mine to the right of the gauges. On a flexible quick release ball mount that it came with.

Mine is mounted on the left side of the steering and not on the console but it is a ram mount that is attached to the side where you walk through. I then attach the GPS and can bring it over to the dash area since my GPS is bigger than the one shown above. Works out well but sorry I don't have a picture right now
