It's a lot like politics these days. No one is capable of seeing beyond what they believe, or want to believe, to see the truth. It's too bad, because that kind of attitude is bleeding into every part of society now, and I'm not sure there's a way to go back.
Think about how it makes the top three stories now on the local news when some kid shows good sportsmanship in a sporting event. Should that even be news?
Those still vehemently supporting Brian over there have no interest in truth. They've heard the side they want to hear and have made their decision. They made their bed - they get to lie in it.
But I'm not bitter or anything...
