Picked up our first boat a 2023 195 FSH Friday before last. Been from Miami and out in the Atlantic, Biscayne Bay, Key Largo and Marathon. In 7 days put 17 hours on it and had to leave it on Saturday for its 10 hour service in Key Largo. Can't wait to get back down tomorrow morning and pick it up. Upgraded to the Cobra Fins middle of the first week and they definitely made an improvement although steering at speed is a lot heavier and might tweak the settings a bit. Anyway really excited to be part of this community and put way more hours on the boat in a short time. DJI_0017.JPG

Welcome to the group. Sharp boat and color scheme. Since you are in saltwater like I am, make sure you lubricate your steering cable to prevent binding from the saltwater. @Cobra Jet Steering LLC fins are a great addition, I did the same on my boat. Steering will be heavy at high speed. I believe this is due to a pump pushing water and the boat “sliding” through the water as we have performance hulls and not having a lower unit with a prop “cutting” water. I have about 55hrs on my boat and love everything about it. This forum is great for questions/comments and everyone has been more than helpful as we all have the same passion for jet boating in different regions.

Congrats on the boat!

17 hours during the first week is a terrific start.

Nice! I’ve got an FSH 195 in Miami as well. Not many of us out here ?

I see lots of the dual consoles and one 255 but never any 195s on the water. Saw one the road in Key Largo once. What area are you in?

I’m usually in the haulover area. Haven’t seen any FSH 195 either

Haven’t been up to haulover. I usually put in down in the keys or Matheson Hammock.
