New 250 HP Supercharged BRP Motor

I’ve been talking to lawyers as I still have concerns my dealer is going to ask for a thousands of dollars to trade my Glastron (which I haven’t even seen, tomorrow will be year) for a 2021 AR195.

The Glastron now has a new motor and the lawyer says we can get compensation for Breach of Warranty under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act. I can get them to pay my attorney’s fees and he said we can get 20-50% of the BRP motor price in compensation for not having the boat for a year under warranty.

So, does anyone know how much for a new Rotax 250HP Supercharged motor?

You can buy the 1503 long block for about $7,000. Part # is 461135. Check here. You'll still need to get all the other"stuff" as well.

That’s what the local dealer was saying. The fully dressed up version is more. I know they also sent a new Supercharger. The motor was in one crate and the SC in another according to the Service Manager where my boat is at.

What is the standard warranty on the Rotax 250HP motor? Is it one year or three?

3 years is the standard warranty, but heard depending of the case & reason of the failure, BRP has been more than generous with many customers

You are correct sir. They replace our motor completely covered under warranty with a $100 deductible which the Service Manager was unaware of. Would have been great had it not taken a year to get to that point.
