Just traded in my 2008 SX 210 for the 2015 AR 240 HO. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at the additional power. The 2008 just couldn't pull me up on a single ski.
Already completed a few upgrades.

Replaced the factory 6" for some Polk audio 6"
Polk audio tower speakers (2 sets)
Custom Longhorn bumpers
Kicker 10" sub
Hifonics Brutus 1500.1 sub amp
Hifonics Zeus 600.4 for mids and hi's

Photos to follow once all have been installed.boat.JPG

@shark99 glad to have you on board, what took you so long to find us?

That's a nice boat!

update your profile with your location so it will show with your avatar and it will automatically put you on the member map,

Welcome aboard and congrats on the upgrade! Yeah, the 1.8L or even the 160hp HO MR-1 engines are a substantial boost in power both out of the hole as well as more capable with the boat loaded even at speed. You won't be sorry, and once again, congrats and welcome aboard!

Very nice. Great color and welcome aboard! Would love to see some pics of the stereo upgrades.

@shark99 - Now that is FRIGGIN SWEET!!!

Congrats on the purchase. You'll have loads of fun on her!!
(yep, I said that - get stuck offshore for too long and all of a sudden everything becomes an innuendo)

Beautiful! Congrats on the new boat.

Nice looking boat @shark99 I was halfway thinking about upgrading to a 2010 AR240. Let us know what you think about going from the Sx210 to the 240. The one thing I don't like about it is the seat that folds down. I'd never have it up and to me I just don't like how it looks like a folded down seat. Not to mention the great storage space that is wasted. Anyways can't wait to hear about what you think, is it a must upgrade or just something new to have? We love our AR210! Congrats!

@Trevor Shipman this was an upgrade all the way. The SX210 just didn't have the power I wanted for tubing or wakeboarding, so I pulled the trigger and went for the trade in. Plus I couldn't pass up the incredible interest rates on this new boat. The AR is lacking in storage in the floor, but it makes up for it in the cubby area. When I was installing the amplifiers, I could literally just sit in there and work. I didn't feel cramped in any way, and it provides a lot of storage for bags/towels and ropes.
The front bow seating area takes a little getting used to. It has two separate cushions instead of the one big cushion (between the seats) and to get them in the right spot for comfort is a pain, but other than that, this is one awesome boat! I am loving the cruise control as well. My girlfriend (who has never driven a boat) has now become my go to person when I want to surf on the wake. She has finally gotten used to using the cruise control function and can provide an excellent surfing experience.
It does help that I added a fat sack to the rear seating area.

Welcome @shark99 and WOW, nice new boat. Congrats on the upgrade.

Thats a sharp looking boat, bet it sounds just as good. Best of luck with it.
