Sold my X-30 .... Took a break from boating for a month
Found this X – 46 up in Idaho , had a strange camouflage navy wrap on it.

Super happy so far,
7.4L 522hp Tugboat.
Previous owner ordered Every option
Ever has Heaters and Butt warmers

I ordered Sea deck immediately, waiting for that. I also got the windows tinted, learned that lesson on the previous boats

We pulled the camouflage wrap office soon as we got home and discovered a rather nice looking Gel scheme. We are liking the
USA Colors a lot.
Still dialing in Surf wave. Take a lot of ballast.

Beautiful boat. Congrats on the upgrade.

Nice!!! @lashburn1 Do you have a pic of the camo wrap.....I can't imagine doing that to a boat like that...???

Beautiful boat @lashburn1 ! Why would anyone wrap that color scheme and beautiful gelcoat?

Congrats Again! lol! Great looking boat!

Beautiful boat! Why'd you decide to sell the last one?
Excellent question.
I change my mind a lot.
The X-46 was a new model when we 1st looked at MCs. It was WAY out of reach $$$
But now a few years later used 46 are within reach.
We liked our 242LS too. But wake surf was a big deal towards the switch.

You ever head over Martinez Lake stretch of the Colorado? Bit closer to SD than Havasu. We will be there 25-29 August and 2-5 September (Labor Day Weekend) then make a straight shot up to Lake Powell 5-9 September.

We have thought about Martinez... Mostly from your post here a while back. LOL

We are out of Oceanside so the Havasu trip is not much different that Martinez via SAn Diego.
The Hotel we stay at is on the Lake and has a dock we can keep the boat in.

Big problem is water depth , wake surf and V-drive like 15' ++ water depth. Havasu has plenty of Deep water.

You guys should give Martinez a shot. If anything you get to explore new waters (my favorite thing to do). Doesn't have the hustle/bustle or L.A. Bling as Havasu but it does have a some nice boat up restaurants and bars. Usually plenty of lake front homes with docks to rent. Tons of back waters that will make you feel like you are at the jungle cruise at Disneyland, a back water lake with cliff jumping similar to copper canyon, a hidden/abandon mine shack from the turn of the century and a sand bar that is way more friendly than Havasu's. If you do end up going this season let me know and I will have my wife send you (I'm in Bahrain) a guide I created based off of Google Maps Satellite shots that breaks everything down for that stretch of the Colorado.

Yes, I thought it would be really nice.
Maybe we will go.
The biggest problem is the extreme shallow water, with the jet boat or and I/O, there's a lot less worry if your inexperience with though area.
When we got this newest boat, I was willing to get something different, like a sea ray or a cobalt. But my daughter reminded me, but half the reason we go on the boat is to go wake surfing. And it's already hard enough to get anyone to go on the boat at all
Would really like to know that it is possible to wake surf there and that the water is deep enough to do it

You would not be the only inboard boat out there. I see plenty running around, along with big performance boats. When I'm at work tomorrow I will send you a screen shot of the areas where it will be deep enough for you to wake surf. Specifically, it is in Martinez Lake proper and Ferguson Lake. Both are off of the main stretch of river so they are protected from boating traffic and wakes. I will PM you tomorrow with pic of the area.
