glad to have you on board, since it's your first boat make the first trip out on an uncrowded, good weather day, before people can get in the water,
It will give you some practice time both backing the trailer and low speed docking (never go faster than your willing to hit something and docking into the wind is easier than trying to reverse into it).
Check out our FAQ tab at the top of the page for lots of great tips, especially "what drowning looks like, how the cooling water flows in your engine and be careful with the #3 spark plug, it can be seized and snap off in the head when trying to remove it.
