New Boat Owner Here from Upstate NY. Just Signed papers on a new 2015 SX192. I have spent the last few months researching different boats but kept coming back to this one. Looking for any comments and reviews on this boat from all of you. Thanks

Congrats on the new boat, you'll love it...Go Red Sox!

What specifically are you looking to find out about the boat?

Enjoy it. I think for a small family the 190/192 is a great value. When I get extra people on-board I sometimes wish she was a little wider, but that doesn't happen that much. The trick we've found is smart packing. For instance, we've bought these quick drying beach towels that take up half the space of larger towels. Also, we make sure everything that goes on has a spot and it stays there. A 25 quart cooler fits nicely in the seat behind the driver (although I sometimes wish for more space). Keep your seat filler in the front and use the space underneath for storage (we keep a plastic container for shoes under there for quick access).

Another negative you hear is that they aren't as maneuverable due to the single engine, but I can turn mine in barely more than it's length so I call BS on that. Just takes a little practice (and it helped Will showed me how to do it when I bought it).

The other is the fuel usage. I don't think that ever crosses my mind when I'm on the water. I've got a 100% gas station on the way to the lake so I'm probably coming out cheaper than people filling up on the water anyway.

The main thing is get on the water every chance you get. I bet the only regrets you can possible have is seeing it sitting on the trailer.

@YANKEES5 I have to say - I am VERY impressed with the look and finish of 2016 192s, just saw one at a boat show here. They really look pretty fantastic.

Keep in mind, for passengers and cargo these are just about the largest 19ft runabouts you will find, and they still fit in your garage. You will likely end up loving it.
For me the trick's learning how to utilize every inch of that boat. There is almost nothing you couldn't do.

Just remember, pics or it didn't happen ;)

Congratulations!

Pics.
Preferably on the water!

Welcome @YANKEES5 ! We have a AR190 and love it! Great family boat and like @DBamaC said, if its packed correctly it makes things 100% easier to get it in the water and go! Enjoy

Welcome @YANKEES5 and congrats on the new boat. Make sure to post up pics when you take delivery. ;)

Welcome @YANKEES5 ! We chose the same boat! I'm slightly dissapointed in the performance of mine but I still love it and I launch it every chance I get. These boats are extremely manueverable and a blast to drive. You're gonna enjoy it! You get the Red or the Gray?

@YANKEES5 , excellent boating upstate NY and you will enjoy the boat. Congratulations

I think you can change the "Boat Model" in your profile to say SX192 instead of just SX (assuming you have the 192). Otherwise, people may think that you have the SX190 which there are some noticeable differences in terms of trailer, gas usage, speed, etc.

Congrats on the new boat, you'll love it...Go Red Sox!

Just looking to see how others like it. Performance, maintenance or any issues they may have come across

Here's some pictures. Won't be picking up till mid April. The dealer is holding onto it for me till the docks get put in a my campb54765941d4111e5944e123138109e21.jpg 20160318_133711.jpg IMG955612.jpg

Red boats are the fastest, that why everyone "wants" one.

@YANKEES5 - Welcome Aboard, and congrats on the new ride. . . . . Where upstate are you?

By far.
One could argue that blue is the sexiest though. Black the coolest? All the other colors just pale in comparison really.
Have had a blue exciter and red ss so i may be biased i guess.
