So I'm wondering what the payment would be if I bought a new ar240. Also if they gave you a decent amount for a trade in. Don't want to trade my boat right now, just curious

Do you own your current boat? If not, what's the payoff? Sounds like you plan on financing, what is your credit score? Need these as inputs to guesstimate.

Making some assumptions here, so, your mileage may vary. Let's assume 18k for your trade. I didn't check Nada but rather just looked around on boatrader and then figured a couple thousand less than being sold for, so, that's a fast effort at best. Looks like boat rates for 180 month right now are like 4.8 for the price range which you would be in to finance. The 2.9 rate I'm sure will come back later from Yamaha, but right now, it's gone so the best is around 4.8.....you may find a few ticks lower here/there but probably not below 4ish. I used 4.5 in my calculation.

I assumed 1400 freight.
I assumed MSRP for boat.
I assumed 3% tax rate for North Carolina.

I think you would be financing somewhere around 38k. Could be more, could be less, that's going to depend on the boat dealer's price of the boat and your trade in.

Here is a little chart to get you an idea of the range from 36k all the way to 42k, ranging from 4.5% financed to 6.0% financed. Based on those parameters and a 15 year finance it's going to be somewhere between 275 to 354 per month.

Hope this helps.
