new boat today

Picking up my first boat today. 2015 212X.
Have had a 2002 FX140 since new and decided it is time to step up.
I will be looking for input on Wake boards and Surf boards as this is a new area for me and the family.
I have been watching all the you tube videos and now its time to get the particulars from those with
experience.
Lots of water skiing experience but very little exposure to wake boarding and zero to wake surfing.
