Good morning! New to the Jet boaters forums. Not a jet boat owner but do have a 2013 Chaparral 19 H20. Was recommended from a current user to join. "Chess"

Welcome! We are all inclusive!

Welcome! Not to far from you in Edgewater, MD ten mins south of Annapolis. Where do you do most of your boating?
Thanks all.

We normally go out on the Potomac River over to VA. to Shark Tooth Island/Colonial Beach. We trailer the boat so we have and will go out on the Patuxent also.

What @DaBears forgot to say is he is looking to upgrade at the end of the season.... I am trying to push him into getting a Yammy....

Can someone help me out here :) @Julian @Bruce @Murf'n'surf @mark_m @bronze_10 @Lextacy03 @OCMD @veedubtek @Andy S @robert843 @Ramblin Wreck @captainhook

:) :)

Hey @DaBears , welcome aboard-

We live just South of Quantico in Fredericksburg, VA and are up towards Annapolis quite often. I'm a grad and up for football, lacrosse and boating quite often.

Mostly boat at Lake Anna, Potomac (Tim's II to DC (Three Sisters)), Annapolis, NY (Long Island) and now 2 round trips to Bimini-

We (clearly) trailer ours as well as discovery is almost always part of our purpose-

This is our 2nd Yammie and we choose because:
-Lighter (easier to trailer (no outdrive or transmission))
-Safer (kids,..., no props)
-Shallow draft
-Incredibly Functional and simple design (That rear swim/sitting area!)
-Self maintenance (Winterizing takes 10 minutes)

Wives initial 2 'non-negotiables' (when kids were smaller):
-Room for Head
-Max Shade

Now that kids are older, Shade is only hard reqt.

Godspeed,
glen
