New boater, new member

Hey everyone! Just stopping on my way in the door here to say, “hello.”

Late this summer I was fortunate enough to pick up my first boat, a 2023 255XD. I’ve been working up to it for nearly two decades and finally made it happen. So much to learn. So much fun in just the few weeks of summer I had left. Such is life in Southwest Michigan.

If anyone has suggestions on boating to Chicago from St Joseph, MI, or up the coast of Lake Michigan, I’d love to hear about it.

Straight to Diamond Lake for my maiden launch.




Took her out on the big lake (Michigan) a few times.


Dressed her up for a boat parade with some friends on Lake Chapin.


Counts as "work from home" doesn't it?

Thank you. I’m fortunate enough to have a couple dear friends who teach people how to drive boats for water-sports, and are sharing their experience with me. I’d have been lost without them!

Looks like a proper office to me….except the boat is sitting on the trailer..needs to be in the open water!
