Hello all,
Cobra Jet Steering suggested i join this forum. Thanks again! Recently purchased a 2007 Yamaha AR 230. All advice and suggestions is appreciated. I will post pictures when i am back home from sea. 1st on the list of known repairs:
1. Clean out blow out fix ( Cobra Jet Steering)
2. Fix plastic scupper known for failing.
3. look at interior fix options. couple seats the hammered vinyl is done
4. Freshwater/ballast system combined
5. Trailer needs new caliper and prob new actuator.

Sounds like you've got a great starting list. Get the safety stuff like the scupper and plugs done first, then we'll help you spend money on the fun stuff! Also, we love pictures!

Mostly in Galveston, lakes every now and then. I watched a video you had on youtube in the Bahamas, I just got back from Man-o-war Cay. Love the Bahamas.
 
I haven't put my boat in at Galveston yet. I've been considering it, but I don't know the waters at all. At least in the Bahamas, you can see what's down below you. I'm not sure that it's worth towing from the Woodlands to Galveston. What do you think @dirksgoat ?

Maybe you'll have to join the Jet Boaters.net group on their next Bimini trip. Man-o-War looks beautiful.
