After having the wheel bearings re-packed (as I do every spring) the boat was transported to it's new summer home in Lake Cumberland, KY. What's nice about this place is I can load up the boat and drive it to the boat ramp, dunk it and park the truck. Can't wait!IMG_2100.jpg

Nice good for you happy boating

Looking good!

How do you like the Silverado? Have you had any problems/gripes about it?
Is it a High Country or a LTZ?

That looks fantastic! I saw your post on the Lake Cumberland Boaters page the other day and showed the picture to my wife. I told her when the kids move out and we actually have some money in the bank, that is the exact kind of place that I would love to spend my summers in.

It's the High Country. Had a 2013 Avalanche and I love this truck! No issues at all so far.

It's great. My 3 kids are coming up over Memorial day week for the first time. I'm excited to share the fun with them. They are 30, 26 & 21. Still love making memories with them.

Thats not a commute you'll do all summer is it? (OH to KY) Or do you take summers off and stay at the lake house?

We have a bunch of long weekends (Weds - Mon) scheduled throughout the summer. It's a six hour drive so it's not too bad to do when your staying for several days plus, I'm not towing the boat so I don't have to deal with that issue and crappy gas mileage!

You going to be on the water this weekend? We are planning on heading down tonight, I've had the boat back here at the house for about a month to do upgrades and it is time to get it back down there to the storage, we should be out on the water on tomorrow around noon, supposed to be around 80 and sunny.
