Anyone install new impellers and have issue fully seating ? Seem blades are tight in wear ring. Any tips ? Gonna pull wear ring housing next if I can’t get in.

Did the old ones spin OK?
Maybe your liner has some corrosion on it? Try a fine steel wool see if anything comes off too easy... That may be corrosion keeping it from spinning.

The old ones spin inside housing, I pulled wear ring housing off. Both old impellers soon in it no issue. The new one gets binded up - see pics. It’s about 1/4 from fully seating but impeller spins 1/4 turn and stops - I’ll try to sand the wear ring a bit to see if it helps

Your old impellers may have been contacting the wear ring wearing down the impeller blade diameter. Look closely at the wear rings. I found wear marks on mine where the impellers were contacting them. Also run your fingers over the impeller blades. You'll likely find some blade edges that have been slightly rolled over feeling like a burr.

I also had a slight problem getting my splined shaft to go in all the way. I had to wiggle & jiggle it. Again your wear rings may be preventing it from going in smoothly. If your running in the salt I'd replace the liners or you will just damage the new impeller blades.

There r wear marks on liners. Port fit fine. I can get a new oem replacement quickly and see if that solves issue

If you are replacing both impellers replace both wear rings also.
