What engine ya got in your Mirage? You will get used to the steering in a couple of hours use than won't even think about it. Don't know where you boat, put your location in your profile so it shows up, but I have only had one memorable clog in mine since I bought it in 03 . I run rivers, if your on a weedy lake it could be another story.
