Welcome Sugarsand gary, you found a great forum. What engine ya got in your Mirage? You will get used to the steering in a couple of hours use than won't even think about it. Don't know where you boat, put your location in your profile so it shows up, but I have only had one memorable clog in mine since I bought it in 03 . I run rivers, if your on a weedy lake it could be another story.:D Oh ya like eggwhite93 says above only thing we like better than a pic is more pics.

One other thing, if you really don't like the steering I believe Cobra Jet Steering LLC ,a member here, makes steering fins for the sportjet.

Looks Sharp!!!!

Looks clean! Smartcraft system gauges?

Perhaps all the "newer" optis have them, my older 240 efi Mirage I had to retro fit. Love the system
