Just purchased a 2015 Yamaha 242S. Never drove a jet boat before, but have ridden in one!!!! Loved it!!! We are getting rid of our deckboat! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

Let us know where you're at! Hoosier here! Come up to Portage and hit up the warm water discharge! Cedar lake in my home town is ok for a quick dip but not a day away.

I'm way down south near Corydon, IN. We mostly boat on Rough River lake in Kentucky. Occasionally get to Patoka or the Ohio River when it's clean.

@Speedling, I’m going to take my boat up to Cedar Lake for a multi-family vacation for a week in June. My sister and her husband and kids are coming from Grand Rapids Michigan and we’re coming up from Bloomington.

The house we rented is on the water with a dock. Is there anything I need to know about the lake? I noticed it’s only around 900 acres, but I’m hoping the skiing will be decent on weekday mornings.

Just around the corner from you in Lanesville on Ponderosa Rd. Just picked up the new boat on Friday. Really anxious to get it in the water. I may go down to Leavenworth tomorrow if the river conditions are ok.

Yea, Lanesville is right up the road. I'm on the east end of Georgetown right across from the drive-in.

I didn't know Leavenworth had a ramp. I've ridden the motorcycle up to the Overlook restaurant a few times, but never taken the boat. Where's the ramp? Ohio any good down that way?

Yep, 2 ramps down there and they call it the 100 mile lake from there. I’ll try to pull some map pics for you tomorrow
