They do make a huge difference! This was my first mod when I bought my 192 last year. Should be a standard on any boat trailer in my opinion. I see yours is in the garage also,sure makes it easy working on our boats.. Thanks for sharing!
 
Plan to do the same. Is it as easy as splicing wires and connecting new or do you need to re-wire the trailer. Sorry to ask. Thanks!

Yes it's easy. The kit comes with a whole new wiring kit. I didn't. I simply spliced them together and they work! Took about 20 minutes for the whole install.
