Hello all, just traded in my old stern drive for a 2018 Chaparral 203VRX in Electric Blue. Should be delivered in early May. Not a big deal because up here in New England winter is still holding us in it’s cold grip. It will be a while before I even think about boating.
I boat in Otis Reservoir, and have a camper set up seasonal at a local campground. I never tow it, it stays up here permanently. I have been camping/boating here for years. Took a ride up to the campground to check out my fifth wheel to make sure it was doing well over the winter. Still a lot of snow up in the “hill towns” by Otis Reservoir. Here are a couple pictures of the docks at the campground marina, and one of my snow covered fifth wheel. You can barely see how the deck is layed out under all the snow.
Well my girlfriend and are are excited about the new boat, and can’t wait to get up to the camp for another season of camping and boating. We spend as much time as we can up there. We absolutely love it. I’ll post more pictures when the new boat gets here. Hope everyone has a great boating season!
