Hi all.
I used this site for the past year to make sure I was making the right decision on my boat purchase. I finally pulled the trigger this past September and went with a '17 AR240. We couldn't be happier with our purchase and got ALOT of use out of it before we had to pull it out of the water for the winter.
Just wanted to say how helpful I found this site to make an informed decision for the boat purchase.

Welcome aboard, what part of MN do you boat in?

Thanks RiverRat.
We stayed on Minnetonka. It's close to home and big enough not to get bored. We plan on taking it other places next summer too.

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. We really enjoy our 24’ Yami. I grew up boating in MN, a lot of lakes.

Congrats on the new boat! Bring it up to Gull. Like Tonka, its big enough that you wont be bored. :)

Welcome and congrats @UpNorth glad to have you aboard.

Welcome aboard! Always good to see fellow MN boaters on the site.

Welcome aboard and congrats! We're on Tonka most weekends, but flirt with some other lakes too. Have fun with the new toy!

:Welcome: if you have any questions on your 17' let me know, I have the same one. Did a full stereo upgrade with multiple amps and tower speakers, seadek, throttle adjustments, ak steering, throttle sync, Stolz bow roller and trailer guides.

Thanks @CraigAR
I'm pretty sure I'll add the throttle sync. I adjusted the throttle cables shortly after getting the boat. Seems like that is a very common issue.
Are you happy with the addition of the throttle sync?

Welcome @UpNorth !

Consider adding the RideSteady GPS speed control which also synchs your throttles - electronically. It's almost a fly-by-wire conversion.
Especially needed if you plan on doing skilled watersports such as ski/wakeboard/surf.

@swatski
That looks like a little more than I need! I'm guessing the Throttle sync will be more my speed.

Thanks @CraigAR

Yes! No more throttle drop and very easy to adjust the throttles while standing up. I had to re-adjust my cables again after the install but it works flawlessly.

@UpNorth , Welcome and congratulations from another Minnetonka based Yammie!
