Hi, Jetboaters! My name is Brandon, and I greatly appreciate all of the tremendous information y'all have contributed to on this site. I'm currently going through the negotiation and probable purchase of a 2012 Yamaha SX240. It would be the first boat purchase for my young family.
I have owned jet skis before, and I'm looking forward to getting to know (and learn from) the members of this cool group. [flag]

:Welcome:
You and your family will love your boat!

@bronze_10 Dang! That would've been awesome to take. It's members on here that do those types of trips that drew me into this group.

Let me know if you ever head over to Lake Murray, and I agree this is a great community of boat owners. Welcome!

:Welcome:

Hey Brandon,
My family is new to jet boating as well .We are in Summerville. We are taking delivery this weekend of a 2012 SeaDoo 230. We would like to connect with other boaters in the area.

@Chris Allen My wife and I just purchased a 2008 Yamaha SX230 this week from Lake Keowee. We really want to take it down to the coast, but need to fix some things before that happens. We'd give you a holler when that happens

Welcome aboard! SC is well represented in this community

Welcome!!! Hope to catch you on the water some day. I think we are going to shoot for Jocassee tomorrow. Cold water feels good!

Ended up going to War Path landing @ Keowee yesterday late afternoon... worked for 2 hrs cleaning out the plugged water spray indication ports (thanks dirt robbers!) My first option on the water in trouble? This wonderful forum. Utilizing other members' past posts I was able to diagnose and fix on the water. A pain in the butt, YES, but able to salvage the day and have some fun after fixing.

I'm down here in Charleston, and also have a 2012 SX240. The Charleston gathering was really fun this year (our first time). Met alot of cool folks. If you ever make it over to the coast, let us know!
