Just joined the jet boat community with purchase of a 2004 ar230 yamaha.

Previous boats have been a Crownline 225br and a Baja 25 outlaw. Really excited for a different boating experience for my family.

:Welcome: to the forum. Lots of good people here to help keep you safe and on the water. Where are you from? Take and share pictures. Love pics here. Good luck and enjoy!

Heres a few photos that I have so far. I have to remove the tower to get it in my garage but thankfully that's a quick procedure. Very excited for boating season this year!

Working on the boat while watching the baby monitor... Yup, I know that struggle

Thanks for the welcome. I am very excited to enjoy this boat. Having only mercruiser I/O equipped stuff in the past, this already feels 100% more user friendly for the kids.

Our first boat was a 2000 crownline 225br, then we went to a 99 baja 25 outlaw. I loved the outlaw (500efi that ran 70 on gps) but neither of them have the amenities that this new to us ar230 do. When the kids are grown up I'll go to a 33+ ft. Twin engine power boat, but this is more fun now.

Yeah...the Yamaha will definitely be more family friendly. My boat is always the one people hang out around when I'm rafted up with other I/Os or OBs. The swim deck is just so much more inviting with nothing in the way or under water lurking.
