new mooring covers ... why the change ?

Ok so i see the new covers have complete cut out with zipper pockets over cleats vs the older style with hard rubber inserts for the cleats .. i think the older stayle is much better , and for towing on highway as well ... i just dont see these holding onto cleats good enough but maybe someone knows more ?

I'm guessing it's because it was cheaper. Not for us to buy but them to produce. Inflation and all companies looking for savings were ever they can.

when I tried to buy the new upgraded premium cover for my 240 , when it arrived i thought it was sabotaged at the factory , it looked like somone cut with a scissor the rubber inert parts out .. i called and told them that and sent it back for a RF little did i know come to find out THATS HOW THEY ARE MADE NOW !
