Hi guys and gals,
New owner of a 2015 Yamaha 242 ltd s. Absolutely love it. Took it out for a weekend of beach camping this weekend and it performed wonderfully. Haven't done any mods yet but looking forward to digging into the wealth of knowledge on this site. Thanks for having this great resource for problem solving as well. Looking forward to many years of fun with this beauty.

Congrats and welcome to the forum....yes....lots of great ideas here.... (that can also be read as....lots of great ways we can dream up for others to spend money on their boats! LOL) We love our mods.....but we justify them by telling our bosses that we are saving lots of $ in maintenance!

Is that 1st pic back near Hawk Creek, where I dropped the pin in the pic below? If so, we spent last Tuesday in the same spot - just on the opposite side of the tree in the water .

Congrats on the boat - we have a 2013 and keep it in a slip over at the CDA Resort.

Yeah, looks like you were in a different spot. We love CdA - been mooring there for 6 years. The bays are what make that CdA special, along with the Gr8 downtown. Lake Roosevelt's strength is the beaches - those are a ton of fun!
