Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself, just picked up a 252SD, first time owner but have been on boats most of my life. Took it out last week and really enjoyed it, kids and wife loved it. No upgrades planned yet just going to run it and figure out what I really want before adding anything that I’m not sure I’ll need or want.

Really lucked out finding this boat, just called the dealer one day and they happened to have it show up, they were not expecting it at all. So we went to check it out and obviously really like it, was looking for a S or SE but seeing how tough these things are to find figured this was our best shot at one this year. Anyways looking forward to the summer and days on the water with family and friends. Glad to be apart of the forum too, lots of good info here. Thanks guys.

Welcome aboard! Nice boat. Post pics or it didn't happen :)

Congratulations! What is your location? I know my local dealer had 80 boats sold (with deposits) and Yamaha called them and cut their delivery to 42! You are indeed a lucky guy!

Thanks guys, I’ll get a pic up when I get a chance. The dealer is in Amarillo, TX, just about 2hrs away, I had been talking to them waiting for any 25 footers to show, most had been spoken for and no ideas when any would even show up. Then one day I happened to call and they said they randomly had a 252SD delivered unexpectedly so we went to check it out. He told me that they honestly had no idea the boat was coming, they were surprised when it arrived. They are still waiting on many other models to be delivered that have buyers in line ready to pick up.

Hey guys, so I went to replace the bow roller yesterday with a stoltz ult 4 (inner is rp444 and bells were 434, iirc) anyways the bolt was too short. Any ideal the correct bolt length just to make it easy instead of buying a couple to try? Also I believe my jet nozzles and art keel need alignment and have read a little on here how to do it but any chance you guys know of a video online to watch? Thanks in advance for the help.

Great looking boat! Congrats! Love it

My bolt seemed about a half inch too short as well. I tightened it and it works though the rollers do not roll. I'm finding that the rollers don't really need to roll. It's a soft material and doesn't scratch the boat.
