Awesome news! The more info, the better. Thanks for posting your feedback.I actually have the new Perfect Pass system but have been afraid to post anything about it here. I figured I would get flamed for it. It works great and I have had tremendous customer service directly from Perfect Pass. You can PM me if you have any other specific questions about it. I truly believe RIdesteady makes a great product and, from what I read, has outstanding customer service as well.
What a shitty post.I just would feel more comfortable when making a sizable investment like this to be dealing with a company that has been in the boat speed control business for over 20 years with upwards of 90,000 existing customers rather than buying from a guy putting stuff together in his garage and using a post office box at a gift shop as a business address. That being said the PerfectPass system still needs to be a good product which is why I am asking for help in making this decision.
Or - someone marketing PP, in jet boats ? lolol.@JetSurfer Forgive me for asking, but do you have any affiliation with perfectpass? Just so we're all on the same page here.

He obviously prefers to talk about his option behind closed doors because he doesn't want to be dragged over the coals for choosing option B over option A.You can PM me if you have any other specific questions about it.
To appease the vocal watchmen to avoid being dragged over the coals, he obviously feels the need to compliment ridesteady even though he has had no interaction, doesn't own the product, and actually purchased the competitors product.I truly believe RIdesteady makes a great product and, from what I read, has outstanding customer service as well.
Having had both, old perfect pass-traditional version with servo operates linkages, and RideSteady I’ll tell that while burning up or corroding the servo motors should no longer be an issue with the new electronic perfect pass system I would want to know if they have improved their screens which in the past have been known to poop with a year or two pretty frequently. Also making adjustments with the knob is hundred times easier for me than pushing arrows up-and-down and clicking the buttons on a side of the screen.Just for transparency, I have neither system - but that might have been the first dig I've seen at Ridesteady in the couple years I've been floating around here. I'm interested in it, but too spendy for me since we don't surf/board, would just be for cruising.
@mrmeaniemeateaterman Are you referring to this???@Levi Weatherford your fears are valid. Unfortunately there are several aftermarket products on this forum that are closely guarded by vocal watchmen. Anyone with any opinions otherwise will need to be ready to defend their choice with thick skin, talk behind closed doors or just simply keep their mouth shut. Unfortunately for the forum, as a whole, I think many choose to keep their mouth shut and so the forum becomes very one sided regarding aftermarket product options.
Let's look at @Levi Weatherford 's post:

Is this really the environment you want in this forum? I really enjoy this forum, it is super informative but there are certain things that really upset me and the product bashing is high on that list. I will say that the products the vocal watchmen defend are good products, but I wonder how much of it is actual product superiority vs choice supportive bias = the tendency to retroactively ascribe positive attributes to an option one has selected and/or to demote the forgone options
