Got an update in my inbox yesterday about the new Sea Ray SLX 400. These "mega-bowriders" seem to be growing in prevalence and size. My guess is this thing will be encroaching on half a million dollars if not more, but damn its pretty sexy. They call it the "Entertainer".

WOW, now that is a nice boat!

Geez... i'll take 2

That's my retirement boat there! ;)

Boy, that's nice! That cabin with the bath really surprised me. I bet it's 500k or more.

Dang where is the drooling emoji? Bet that thing makes a surfable wake. Maybe in 20 years I will be able to afford a used 2017.

Does that thing have a moon roof? Lol

I saw that boat at the Charleston boat show it was really cool a little big for my needs and I didn't look at the price but I'm sure way more then my boat budget would allow as well. I do think we decided are next boat will be the Sea Ray 270 Sundeck OB while there though the Sea Rays are sharp boats.

Nice!

We love our Sea Ray. They are well built and solid boats.

Just walked thru one of the Sea Ray 40 footers like this at the boat show. 300k

So.... bimini runner? Someone buy it and be the official shuttle for the wives and children, lol!

i did comment that it would be a good boat to take to Bimini..... Haven't convinced the boss that she can survive the crossing... Still hoping she comes around.

That must have been the show special price, I bet the MSRP with options easily exceeds $500k. Most 50 footers these days approach $1M!

I did look that up the MSRP I saw was $639,000 so that is one hell of a show deal at half off!

Hope you bought it at the show price...

Wish it was in my price range... i don't think it had the fold down side, I only remembered this thread after we got home. I think the sign listed it like 100k off. I should have took pictures. The moon roof and rear extendable Bimini were cool.

They had the 270 and 290 inboards there as well. either of those with outboards would be very cool. Thinking twin seven marine 627's....

It may have been the SLX 350. Very similar design with a mid-cabin, albeit a lot smaller and no fold down "beach". That price seems to make more sense for that mode as well. The 350 was my "hit the lottery" boat until the SLX 400 came out.
